These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of letteroflife.com (the “Site”), provided by Letter of Life (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

Our mission is to make it easy to read, print, and share the Letter of Life. The Site is offered for personal, non‑commercial use unless we provide written permission otherwise.


1) Eligibility & Accounts

  • You must be capable of forming a binding contract to use the Site. If you are under the age of majority, you may use the Site only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
  • We currently do not require user accounts. If we add accounts in the future, additional terms will apply.

2) Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or misleading way;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site or its security (e.g., attempt to bypass access controls, probe or scan systems);
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect information from the Site by automated means without our written permission;
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.


3) User Submissions (e.g., messages, comments, testimonies)

If you send us content such as messages, testimonies, or feedback, you represent that you have the right to share it and that it is accurate and lawful. By submitting content, you grant us a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute it to operate, promote, and improve the Site and our ministry (for example, showcasing stories with your permission). We reserve the right to moderate, edit for length/clarity, or decline to post submissions.

You are responsible for your submissions and agree not to submit content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate.


4) Intellectual Property & License to Use the Site

  • The Site’s text, graphics, logos, and other materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
  • We grant you a limited, revocable, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to access and use the Site for personal, non‑commercial purposes.
  • You may print and share the letter in good faith for personal ministry and non‑commercial outreach. Any broader use (e.g., resale, publication, or large‑scale distribution under another brand) requires our written permission.
  • Do not remove copyright notices, trademarks, or other proprietary legends.

The Site links to third‑party websites (e.g., social media). Those sites are not controlled by us, and we are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Review their terms and privacy policies.


6) No Professional Advice

The Site contains spiritual and educational content only. We do not provide medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. If you need such advice, consult a qualified professional.


7) Disclaimers

THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR‑FREE.


8) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, VOLUNTEERS, AND TEAM MEMBERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US $50).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations; in those places, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.


9) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Letter of Life and our officers, directors, volunteers, and team members from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.


10) Changes to the Site or Terms

We may change or discontinue all or part of the Site at any time. We may also update these Terms occasionally. If we make material changes, we will update the “Effective date” above. Your continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.


11) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict‑of‑laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in state courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site.
